Venticia is a scientist specializing in natural resource and environmental economics, with expertise in aquaculture, marine resource management, and sustainable development. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Copenhagen, an M.Si. in Marine Resource Economics, and a B.S. in Aquaculture from Bogor Agricultural University. Since 2007, she has worked on aquaculture research involving shrimp, sea cucumber, grouper, and probiotics culture. Her doctoral research examined small-scale shrimp aquaculture in Sidoarjo, focusing on market dynamics, production economics, and stakeholder engagement. She also applies game theory to assess water quality externalities linked to the Lapindo mudflow disaster and advances regenerative aquaculture approaches.
