Cendekia Iklim Indonesia (CII) brought together nine scholars specializing in sustainable finance, environmental economics, flood damage assessment, blue economy, climate governance & adaptation, disaster risk reduction & cultural resilience, sustainable energy & renewable solutions, urban sustainability & planning, and economic livelihoods & resilience. These experts have long contributed to the field of sustainable economics.

During this gathering, scholars shared insights on current sustainable economic models and their progress. Through these discussions, valuable perspectives were exchanged, enriched by diverse expertise and backgrounds.
During the event, which aims to train government representatives from nine districts across Indonesia, Cendekia Iklim Indonesia (CII) shared insights from our preliminary findings on sustainable districts. The objective of this event is to build the capacity of the younger generation in the governance sector.
This initiative supports the commitment of several regions to sustainable economic growth, with the potential to increase their Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) and Regional Original Revenue (PAD). CII further reinforces this commitment by highlighting the growing demand for sustainable sourcing in the current market.
